🇨🇳 Today, the 9th China-Eurasia EXPO, which was held in the administrative center of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Urumqi, from June 25 to 29, ends its work.
📈 Over five days, the exhibition was visited by representatives of 49 countries and international organizations, of which 27 states were represented by their own pavilions. The total exhibition area was 140 thousand square meters. m, and the number of registered enterprises and organizations exceeded 3 thousand.
Employees of the Trade Mission took part in a number of events as part of the EXPO business program, which included more than 80 different conferences, presentations, round tables and B2B negotiations.
It is noteworthy that Russian, along with Chinese and English, is the official working language of the EXPO.
The partner countries of the exhibition this year were Kazakhstan and Pakistan, and the Chinese partner provinces were Hubei and Shaanxi.
The opening ceremony was attended by Member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Ding Xuexiang.
🇷🇺 With the direct organizational assistance of the Trade Mission, a separate pavilion of Russian goods was presented at the exhibition.
🛍 The exhibition brought together products from different regions of our country, including food products - chocolate, confectionery, drinks, honey, as well as folk crafts - Khokhloma painting, Orenburg down scarves and nesting dolls. 🛍 As a result of the exhibition, all goods presented in the Russian pavilion were completely sold out. Such high interest from visitors and local business circles demonstrated the enormous potential of Russian goods in the North-West China market.
✏️ EXPO “China-Eurasia” has been held since 2011. During this time, about 140 thousand exhibitors from more than 120 countries and regions of the world took part in it, and the total number of visitors exceeded 2 million people.
