🇨🇳🤝🇷🇺On June 15-16, 2026, a business mission of a number of leading Russian companies to the city of Taiyuan (Shanxi Province) took place.
The event was organized by the Trade Mission and held in the format of a Russian-Chinese conference dedicated to interaction in the field of production and supply chains.
🇨🇳 On the Chinese side, the organizers were the authorities included in the structure of the people's government of the region: the Department of Commerce, the Department of Industry and Information Technology and the State Property Management Committee. The event was also supported by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. The conference brought together more than 200 participants, and was moderated by Li Guorong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Commerce Department.
🇷🇺 The Russian delegation was headed by the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the People's Republic of China Alexey Dakhnovsky. It included officials from companies from such areas as metallurgy, light industry, e-commerce, nuclear energy, oil and gas, logistics and IT sectors, as well as representatives of the Republics of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan in the PRC. 💼 During the presentation session, the head of the Investment Promotion Office of Shanxi Province spoke about the investment climate in the region and the most developed industrial areas of the local economy. From the business community, a number of Chinese companies presented information on their activities, including Huayuan International Land Port Group Co., Ltd., Shanxi Construction Investment Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd., Shanxi Construction Investment International Construction Group Co., Ltd., Shanxi Cloud Times Technology Co., Ltd. etc.
📊 Members of the Russian delegation introduced their Chinese colleagues to the economic and investment potential of the republics of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, and also held a series of corporate presentations, during which representatives of PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel, PJSC Tatneft named after. V.D. Shashina, Rosatom East Asia LLC, Imperial Porcelain Factory JSC, Gzhel Porcelain Factory JSC, Positive Technologies JSC and RVB LLC (the joint company of Wildberries and Russ). 🤝 The culmination of the business mission was direct B2B negotiations. At a specially prepared site, Russian and Chinese participants held substantive meetings to discuss issues related to various aspects of potential cooperation. As a result, a high level of mutual interest of the parties in such contacts was noted, and the achievement of many preliminary agreements on the development of interaction was recorded.
