Since November 2025, a mandatory electronic arrival card, the Entry Card, has been introduced when entering China. Its registration has become a standard procedure for most foreign citizens, including tourists and business travelers. You can fill out the form online in advance, which allows you to significantly speed up passport control. If necessary, this can also be done upon arrival through the terminals or on paper forms.
Registration is available through several channels at once: 1⃣official website in computer version 2⃣mobile version of the site 3⃣application “移民局12367” 4⃣mini programs in WeChat and Alipay
The form includes basic information about the trip and is completed fairly quickly. You will need to indicate: ✅ foreign data. passports ✅ flight number ✅ residential address in China ✅ date and method of departure ✅ purpose of the visit
There is an important point that is worth paying attention to. The generated QR code is valid only for 24 hours, so you need to fill out the card directly on the day of departure. It is better to save the code on your phone in advance so as not to waste time at the airport.
With each new entry into China, the card is issued anew. The procedure is completely free and has already become part of standard preparation for the trip.
