🇷🇺🇨🇳 March 25–27 this year. A joint delegation of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Trade Mission and industry organizations held a series of working meetings at China’s largest semiconductor industry exhibition - SEMICON China 2026.

The delegates presented catalogs of domestic equipment and chemical materials for the electronics industry to the attention of potential customers, and discussed possible formats for the supply of Russian electronic engineering products to China.

📌 At the SEMICON China exhibition, held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) 90 thousand sq. m. m, about 1,400 companies from China, the EU, the USA, Japan, South Korea and other countries presented their expositions.

⚙️ The event was organized by the SEMI Association with the support of the China Electronic Chamber (CECC) and the China Semiconductor Industry Association (CSIA). SEMICON China 2026 is one of the largest platforms for entering the Chinese integrated circuit market, an international platform for discussing technology trends (AI in IC manufacturing, Industrial Internet of Things, advanced packaging, 3D integration), as well as a place for generating B2B contacts and concluding investment deals. 🗒 The event program included a number of major business and scientific events: the SEMI Industry Strategy Symposium (ISS), the investment forum SEMI Innovation & Investment Platform (SIIP China), the Conference of Science & Technology for Integrated Circuits (CSTIC), IC manufacturing Supply Chain International Conference, etc. Prospects for market development and technological challenges were discussed at the event sessions.

📈 SEMI China President Feng Li identified three key growth drivers for 2026: computing power for AI, technological transformation of memory devices, advanced packaging methods.

🇷🇺 Representatives of Russian organizations also visited high-tech production facilities in Suzhou and Wuxi, where they held negotiations on the possible transfer of advanced technologies to the PRC. Employees of the Russian Trade Representation in China assisted in negotiations between the Russian side and the largest electronic engineering enterprises in China and advised Russian IT companies on access to the Chinese market and promising formats of technological partnership.
