The Russian-Arab Forum, which will take place in early October, will become a new platform for economic cooperation between Russia and Arab states.
Its preparation was discussed at a meeting between Adviser to the President of Russia Anton Kobyakov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bahrain to the Russian Federation Ahmed Al-Saati and the head of the representative office of the League of Arab States in Russia Walid Hamid Shiltag.
The forum, organized by the Roscongress Foundation, will bring together: 🔹 officials; 🔹 heads of diplomatic missions; 🔹 representatives of the business and expert community of Russia and countries included in the League of Arab States.
According to Walid Hamid Shiltag, Arab business is interested in visiting Russian enterprises and studying a number of investment projects. A list of such points of interest will be compiled for inclusion in the forum program.
The parties also discussed:
✍️ preparation of an agreement between the Roscongress Foundation and the League of Arab States, which will become the basis for the systematic holding of the forum and the development of practical cooperation;
🏢 creation in Moscow of a permanent project office for the development of interaction between Russia and Arab states.
Ahmed Al-Saati emphasized that Arab states consider Russia as a reliable strategic partner and are interested in further expanding cooperation.
