🌴 The creation of a new financial center in the Far East will be one of the key topics of discussion at EEF-2026.
At the last forum, Vladimir Putin instructed the government, together with the Bank of Russia, to prepare proposals for the creation of a financial center in the Far East on the basis of the Eastern Exchange.
At the moment, a draft law “On the Eastern Financial Center” has already been developed, which proposes the creation of a special legal regime on Russky Island and a number of new legal instruments. Among them:
🔹 mechanism for direct access of foreign investors to Russian financial instruments; 🔹 two-level investment protection system; 🔹 possibility of admission and recognition of foreign credit rating agencies and their ratings; 🔹 prompt replacement of infrastructure organizations in case of external restrictions without stopping trading and settlements, etc.
