Today Moscow is the leader among Russian regions in terms of trade turnover with Arab states. Despite the difficult geopolitical situation, cooperation continues to increase—in four months of 2026, manufacturing exports to the region increased fivefold.
This was announced by the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the City of Moscow Anatoly Garbuzov during the opening of the Russian-Arab Business Club, which took place at the Media Center of the Roscongress Foundation.
“I am convinced that the opening of the club will be an important step towards building long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships. On behalf of the Moscow Mayor, we pay special attention to the development of business partnerships with friendly countries,” - Anatoly Garbuzov emphasized.
📖 At the event, the first issue of a quarterly business guide for Arab diplomatic missions in Moscow was presented for the development of business communications and information interaction between Russian companies, development institutions and diplomatic missions of Arab countries. They also presented an analytical presentation by the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on promising areas of investment and industrial cooperation between Moscow and the Arab world.
🌟 The meeting of the Russian-Arab Business Club is timed to coincide with the preparation of the Russian-Arab Forum, which will take place in the fall in Moscow under the auspices of the League of Arab States.
