Despite sanctions pressure and foreign policy turbulence, Russia continues to systematically restructure the economy.
🌟 This was stated by the President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin at the IV visiting session of the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum.
He also emphasized that national technology leadership projects remain an absolute priority. But no less important, according to him, is the document approved at the end of the year called the “National Business Model”, where there are 11 working groups.
“Most of them are led by business representatives, including groups such as dispute resolution and bankruptcy. This week the Duma will adopt, in the form of amendments, an essentially new bankruptcy law, where the main focus will be on debt restructuring, and not on bankruptcy of enterprises. That is, this is a model that is used in a number of countries,” - said Shokhin.
The head of the RSPP explained that the new approach copies successful foreign practices, in particular the American model, where priority is given to the financial recovery of business. This will allow companies that are facing temporary difficulties, but retain growth prospects, to avoid closure.
