Today the Federation Council summed up the results and awarded the winners of the fourth All-Russian competition “Support Leaders. Women in Export”, which we conduct jointly with the Russian Export Center and the Skolkovo School of Management.
This year representatives from 66 regions took part in it. I would like to note that women, even in the context of the ongoing transformation of exports, are actively increasing their volumes and expanding their geography. The volume of export contracts amounts to hundreds of millions of US dollars, and the number of exporting companies headed by women in the field of small and medium-sized businesses exceeds 8 thousand.
The winners of the competition were representatives of Ulyanovsk, Smolensk, Ryazan, Novosibirsk, Tula, Oryol and Kaluga regions.
I sincerely wish them good luck and further success. And I thank the teams of our “Women’s Cooperation in International Trade” project, as well as the regional teams of Export Support Centers, governors and representatives of executive authorities for participating in the competition and supporting women exporters. Your actions help increase the country’s export potential, strengthen our economy, and work for our common future.
