🫶 Anton Alikhanov: Our task is to resolve issues with engines and avionics
At INNOPROM-2026, the head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade spoke at the session “Wings of Small Aviation: Development Prospects,” where he spoke about the key areas for the development of domestic small aviation.
The main thing:
▶️In 2026–2027, airlines will receive another 72 Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters, a total of 158 aircraft under the investment project.
▶️Import substitution of helicopter equipment continues - Ansat and Ka-226 will soon receive certificates.
▶️A line of domestic engines with a capacity of 50–1600 hp is being developed.
▶️Government support will focus on engines, avionics and key technologies for small aircraft.
▶️The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia with the Federal Air Transport Agency and the Aviation Register will work on simplifying certification procedures.
▶️It was proposed to form a separate program for the development of small aviation, as well as consider additional measures to support manufacturers, including preferential loans through the Federal Investment Fund and the creation of an engineering co-working space for aircraft designers.
▶️The department will work on the inclusion of light aircraft from private manufacturers in the KPGA during localization.
