🫶 Anton Alikhanov visited shipbuilding enterprises in the Arkhangelsk region
The head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade made a working trip to the USC shipyard in Severodvinsk, during which he inspected two key nuclear shipbuilding enterprises:
▶️Sevmash is the only shipyard in Russia that implements the full cycle of construction and testing of nuclear submarines.
▶️Zvezdochka is a ship repair center that carries out modernization, re-equipment and recycling of ships of all classes, including ships with nuclear power plants. The Minister inspected the main workshops and production facilities.
“In the shipbuilding industry, it is extremely important to secure orders not only for Sevmash, but also for other enterprises. We are discussing with the plant managers what additional things can be done to ensure that there is an order. Another issue is infrastructure and development within the framework of the state defense industry program. Now, on behalf of the President, its new edition is being prepared for a ten-year period. Northern shipyards are critically important for maintaining defense capability,” emphasized Anton Alikhanov.
Also during the working trip, he held a bilateral meeting with the Governor of the Arkhangelsk region, Alexander Tsybulsky, and a meeting on shipbuilding issues.
