Denis Manturov chaired a meeting of the State Commission on Combating Illegal Traffic in Industrial Products 💼Meeting participants discussed the issue of control over the provision of notifications about the start of business activities, including in the field of public catering. “Many market participants ignore this procedure and actually operate without mandatory registration in government systems. Simply put, they remain in a gray area. To identify such violations, it is necessary to ensure constant reconciliation of departmental information systems and take additional regulatory measures. This will make it possible to suppress practices that make it possible to bypass sanitary control and create risks for the consumer,” noted Denis Manturov. 📌Based on the results of the discussion, the state commission was instructed to prepare changes to the legislation of the Russian Federation to expand types of activities related to the production of food products, for which the obligation to submit a notification about the start of business activities has been established, as well as to implement on a systematic basis reconciliations of data contained in the register of notifications and the state information system "VetIS". The meeting participants also considered proposals for improving technical regulation in the light industry, namely the introduction of new tools that will increase the reliability of the mandatory assessment of product conformity. “Last year, the volume of the Russian light industry market amounted to 2.6 trillion rubles. Such intense demand inevitably attracts unscrupulous suppliers. Therefore, our task is to create additional barriers to limit the import of low-quality and unsafe products,” the First Deputy Prime Minister emphasized. 📷It was proposed to conduct an experiment on the introduction of video recording during procedures for mandatory assessment of the conformity of light industry products. 🧱The third question was dedicated to combating the circulation of falsified and counterfeit building materials. As part of the work of the commission, decisions have already been made to return state control to this market segment. The corresponding federal law has been signed and comes into force on September 1 of this year. According to the results of an industry control experiment conducted by Rosstandart since September 2024, more than 26.5 thousand tons of unsafe cement and about 10 thousand tons of dry construction mixtures have already been withdrawn from circulation.
